Learning Game Design?

Has based video game developers in London learning programs in the game design or evidence of quality control? I know that ran a pilot program a few years ago with a company in Brighton, but a quick search will bring the pages giving advice on breaking into the wireless industry say that companies offer apprenticeships. I had a quick search some places, but it seems you can not find an apprenticeship in the gaming industry and hoped to gain experience of a if I could. Furthermore, no official website www.apprenticeships.org.uk seem to list any learning in the industry so if anyone has an idea this subject I am grateful. Thank you.

Here is a list of all businesses in and around London: http://www.gamedevmap.com/index.php?query=London&Submit=Search Almost all game developers provide proof of employment and / or internships, which are likely to qualify. The first thing to do is decide what area you want to specialize in. Think about your strengths / weaknesses and decide if you want to be a good game programmer, artist, producer, designer, director of quality assurance, management, etc. Then do a search in their desired field, get a portfolio, creating a good resume a page, and start looking for local game developers to implement. It is possible that should go to college if you want to be an artist (BA) or a video game programmer (degree in computer science) and do not have the skills already possible want to get one of these ranks. If you want to be a leader of a business degree is a good idea. If you have a career in gaming industry try to work as tester in a game developer instead of an editor as you learn more. When you ask to speak of their forces, participation in the game / Games analysis and their career goals and what you do to accomplish them. I just started a blog in which I share what I learned working in the gaming industry: Once http://www.makevideogamesforaliving.com/bradsblog/ who does research for the sites of your favorite game developers are local to you and see if they are hiring. Check out their websites, etc. While you can always call / e-mail and try to convince you used. If you go to college or not to go ahead and look for internships, because in the long term, the experience will get you a job more than a college diploma. Feeling in me through my website with additional questions.
