Should I buy a Playstation 3 now?

Just heard on the news while doing one of thousands of users who have sent PS3 a class action lawsuit against Sony, due to the 3.0 update which have seriously damaged their machines! Well, my PS3 after the Update hangs very often when playing split screen with my brother Nazi Zombie .. It all started after the 3.0 update … Version 3.1 but it did not help .. But when I play online, it freezes … Grand Theft Auto is sometimes now, and the MLB 2009 show, sometimes restarts randomly … Sony really to blame for this, who dropped the ball on the updated firmware …….
